Grey and Brown: a cozy winter duo
Today I am wearing a grey and brown outfit which to me is a very good combination. Is it time to book holidays yet? To plan barbecue dates, to buy a new bikini? Oh I’m so done with the cold, and those short dark days. And with all those layers to wear. At least I am completely done with winter clothing. And I want to shop! I hardly shop in the months of January and February and usually not in March either. But that depends on whether it is already starting to feel like spring. Add that to these boring months and you understand that it doesn’t get any better for me!
What about grey and brown?

But hey, life’s what you make it right! So let me not complain, these months will pass. But let’s talk grey!Of course you know that grey is not boring at all. And actually every colour goes very well with grey. I really like the combination with yellow. But I think with pink is my favorite combination in the warmer months. But the way I’m wearing it today, with some brown, is very nice for winter days.
Although I don’t think that all the brown shades work well with grey. It depends if you wear a warmer or colder grey. For me these greys are warm and the colour of the boots are warm for sure, and that matches percectly. And soon I will also show you that I have combined grey with green. A combination that I really like for furniture and home accessories.
Perfect match in the necklace, I love matchy matchy!

You have seen this skirt before and it is one of my favourites. The jumper is quite simple but has a nice leather detail at the shoulder. I actually wanted to wear a blouse underneath but found out I don’t have one! Not even a white one…… And that seems to be THE basic you NEED in your closet. I never understood what’s all the hassle over a white blouse. I mean is there anything more boring then a simple white blouse? And look who’s talking right! I have now ordered a black one……yeah okay….
But I wear a see-through top under the jumper that I let show up a bit to break the grey. I let the colour of the boots and skirt reflect in the necklace which is 16 years old. Then I apparently already liked this colour combination. Simple gold earrings and a plastic brown ring and that’s it! The boots are, I think, 6 years old. And I love how these kind a boots only get more beautiful when they age. That’s the benefit of real leather. Do you wear grey and brown together?
