How to wear a black skirt in summer (Yeah, it’s fall, I know)

I had bought such a beautiful black skirt a while ago. This one is so perfect. With pockets and such a good length. Also a very special fabric, a bit what they call parachute fabric. But even thicker. So this skirt will also be worn in winter. ( I can hear you saying: no Nancy, because by that time you have already seen another perfect black skirt….)

I hear quite a lot of bloggers say (funny that I write it like that. Because I don’t hear bloggers say it at all, I read what they write…..) that they wear a lot of black this summer. (although it’s fall) I wear a lot of black anyway and therefore also in the summer. But indeed, I also see it on the streets, a lot of black. Is that still the after ebb of Corona?

When people often sat at home in comfortable clothes. And that they still have to get used to wearing beautiful and colourful clothing. Looking back that was a weird time wasn’t it? Or is it just simpler and is black suddenly a trend? Whatever it is, I’m showing you my new black skirt today. But I did think I should style it summery, I didn’t feel like monochrome black. And I know that the fall collections are in full swing, but I prefer to wear my summer clothes as long as possible!

Black and white is a combination I hardly wear. I’ve said it before, it gives me waitress accolades. But over the years I’ve come to appreciate it a little more. And I hadn’t shown this beautiful white linen blouse yet either. I find this one feminine and also cool. And what do you think of these super summery earrings? And so light! You really don’t feel them at all. I received a news letter from the skin clinic and there was a treatment for sagging earlobes. I think with fillers. I have to say that sounds good to me! I think it’s such an ugly sight if I wear even slightly heavier earrings.

But we will see. Loving these very comfortable sandals. They are a few years old and I don’t wear them a lot. But when I do I feel always surprised that they are so comfortable. I love minimalistic, even the earrings felt to much to me, so I am only wearing a leather bracelet and a black ring.The bracelet is so old that I can’t remember, but so cool. And a few necklaces. A black skirt with pockets doesn’t need much added.
