Timeless fashion: Denim skirt style

Isn’t this just timeless fashion? A simple denim skirt? I think so. Always stylish, always in fashion and always great  to wear! I finally emptied the shopping carts and over the past few weeks I received so many packages. I would almost be ashamed towards the postman. Almost then…. But more then half of the packages were send back again, as you do….. Did I mention that I will never, ever, ever order anything from H&M again. Wow, that’s so disappointing every single time. But fortunately there is plenty of choice from other web shops. I have only purchased 1 item from Vinted. I don’t find any interesting items on Vinted lately. But also simply because I have bid on several items, but just get no response. This could of course also be due to the fact that I bid very low, after all I am a Dutch! But what did I buy?

Timeless fashion with a denim skirt

I’ll show you all in the coming weeks. And guess what? There was nothing black in all those packages!! I already showed you in this post that I love simple outfits. So today the same basics again. A black sweater and black boots and a skirt. I love denim skirts as opposed to jeans. They really are timeless fashion pieces! This one is a favourite too, but because of the split to cold for now. The new skirt is long enough to wear leggings underneath and no one will see. And it will be nice and warm. 

A turttle neck isn’t the best for me, but v-neck jumpers are so hard to find and sometimes I just like a turttle neck. Feels cool……like……yes indeed like a spy! Lol…..sorry let’s continue. I love to wear golden accessories especially with a simple look like this one. Golden cuffs, studded belt and long golden earrings. I even wore a statement ring. You could say I went over the top! Haha, for me then!

Feeling good in a denim skirt

Not only did I order this denim skirt. But I ordered a jeans too. Wide legged one! And I am living in it! Can you believe it. I have to be carefull not to wear it to much, I have a reputation to uphold. But I will wear this a-line skirt also very often. Cool, feminine and simple. I think that summed up my style. The women’s bomber jackets is a cool addition to many outfits. To bad the sizing is shit, even when I read the size chart. It’s a size to small. 

So, do you agree with me that a denim skirt is timeless fashion? I have always loved them and I can remember wearing them as a child. That is pretty timeless to me! Are they actually the same as jeans, meaning easy to wear and all the other criteria that women have for always wearing jeans. I don’t think so because it is a skirt.

My aversion of jeans is that a lot of people think it’s easy and they just don’t care what they wear. I think that if you wear what you love, your mental state is happier then when you wear what is practical and easy. If you wear what you love you are yourself. And only when you are yourself you feel good! Well, where did that came from….but that is just my opnion. I am not saying I am right. Let’start a fashion party now!
