Of course I want many people to read my blog. While the reality is that blogs are much less popular than years ago. I also notice that in the numbers. That doesn’t stop me from investing a lot of time in my blog. Purely because blogging is my passion. I have been very active on Instagram for a while, but since this summer I don’t like it at all. And I certainly don’t like making videos. So I let go of IG, I will post on it, but only if I feel like it. I actually do enjoy sharing stories. But this blog is where my heart is.

Two piece with Lurex, so luxurious
During the weekend I always leave the laptop where it is and then I love to get back to work on my blog on Monday morning. I like everything about it. Writing the text, editing photos, the monthly series, commenting back, reading other blogs. But what did I actually want to talk about? Oh yes, the outfit of course.
Well, at The Thrifty Six you could already read how I got this lurex two piece. And isn’t it beautiful? I love clothes with lurex. Brings me back to the 70s, when I adored my grandmothers clothing.
This is a skirt and a jumper. Easily mistaken for a dress right? But it can also be combined separately with what I already have in my closet. You would think that if you have enough clothes to choose from, that you can always combine something new with something that you already have in your closet. But nothing could be further from the truth, I can tell you.

I often find that I have bought something new and it just doesn’t fit with anything I have. But I’m also a wimp with colours and style, etc. Something has to have exactly the right colour or the right fit or length or you name it. Otherwise I don’t think it matches. You could say I’m an uber matchy matchy girl. That’s why I naturally fell head over heels for this outfit. What could be more matchy matchy than a lurex two piece!
