Denim, dresses and sneakers: the trio for effortless fashion
I just love to wear a dress with sneakers and a denim jacket for those early spring days. It might not be that cool and trendy anymore, but who gives a s..t right! The first holiday to England has been booked again! To our trusted b&b in Rye. We have been going there for 11 years. And to England for 23 years! Haha, dare to call us creatures of habit! I have to say that I will go to England with a bit of a heavy heart this time.
Because suppose I get on the transplant list soon, then I am not allowed to go abroad anymore. If everything goes wrong, this could be the last time I go to England, and I find that almost unbearable. If I do get a transplant and everything goes well, then I am not allowed to go abroad for a year after the transplant.
Denim, dresses and sneakers: a perfect combo
So it will take a long time before we can go there again. In the worst case, they do not find me suitable for a transplantation and we can go. But I do not want to think about that scenario at all. In any case, we are facing a difficult time in our lives. But we are moving on to something lighter, namely what am I wearing today!
A dress with a denim jacket and sneakers. So easy and I think it always looks great. I told you before that I am looking for coloured sneakers, and I have seen so many that I love. Gosh, all those lovely colours are so appealing, says she who doesn’t wear that much colour……
All older items, but never worn together

So this dress is a older one, bought in a winter but it is so thin that it is way to cold for that season. I love the colour combination so much that I don’t mind the paisley print at all. Because I am not a fan of paisley. I am not a fan of prints. Well, I do love stripes. Anyway, everything is old actually, because I still haven’t bought anything new for spring.
Look at the lovely brooche on the denim jacket, bought at a car boot sale last year in Kent. I am wearing a ring and earrings in a sort of blue, green, petrol colour that comes back in the dress. And a lot of golden necklaces, I also still like to wear necklaces like this. I haven’t got a camisole in the colour that fitted with the dress, so went for black. In the boutique where I used to work, we always had with every collection matching camisoles and basic shirts. And the camisoles had a bit of lace, very pretty. But I hardly can find great colours and the ones I find with lace are oldfashioned. Well, perhaps I am too……..
